White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said she could not be prouder to work for President Donald Trump, saying he “took a sledgehammer to the failing globalist world order” at the United Nations in New York City on Tuesday.
Leavitt appeared Tuesday night on Fox News’ “Primetime with Jesse Watters.” The host requested Leavitt about Trump’s roasting of world leaders during the United Nations General Assembly, when he did not maintain back and called them out in good fashion, as RedState reported.

“I am proud to work for President Trump every day, Jesse, but I was especially proud watching the President of the United States of America bring common sense to an organization that has made no sense for far too long,” Leavitt said.
“The president gave some tough love,” she added. “He said you are all destroying your own countries. And the United States of America was just being destroyed by one of your own, a globalist [former President] Joe Biden, who had no idea what he was doing. The president took a sledgehammer to the failing globalist world order.”
She highlighted elements of Trump’s UN speech when he called on all of these nations to have pleasure in themselves like we do in America.
“They should be proud of their own heritage and culture,” Leavitt said. “And Japan is beautiful and Italy is beautiful and the UK is beautiful because they all have their own unique history, and culture, and heritage. And they need to protect that just like we are doing here in the United States of America.”

Earlier in the day, Leavitt posted on X half of Trump’s speech at the UN, when he talked about the significance of nations securing their borders.
