Mike Heslin died after Vegas restaurant stopped…

Security at a swanky Las Vegas restaurant forcibly stopped an ICU nurse performing CPR on stricken Hallmark actor Michael Heslin, and threatened to call the cops on her while she tried to save his life, attorneys for his widower have told The Post.

Heslin, 30, died abruptly after struggling a coronary heart assault during a birthday meal at Javier’s Restaurant at the ARIA Resort & Casino on the Strip in June 2024.

A new lawsuit filed by Heslin’s partner Nicholas Wilson, better recognized as Scotty Dynamo, alleges that restaurant employees not only failed to intervene when it was clear the actor was having a medical emergency, but also straight interfered with a fellow diner — a educated medical skilled — when she was serving to him.

“The woman that was performing CPR presented herself as an ICU nurse,” Millie Mummery, a personal injury attorney at Las Vegas-based firm De Castroverde Law Group, told The Post.

“It’s believed that she was another patron or diner at Javier’s,” she said. “Upon noticing the commotion of the medical emergency, she presented herself as an ICU nurse and started performing CPR.”

The Good Samaritan carried out the possibly life-saving motion for “a period of time,” before she was “interrupted by a security guard that removed her from Michael Heslin,” Mummery said.

“Ultimately, she was forced outside of the premises, and it’s believed that they threatened to trespass her and told her she had to leave,” she said.

Attorneys accused restaurant employees at the on line casino, which is owned by MGM Resorts, of deadly incompetence after they allegedly failed to convey over an automated exterior defibrillator (AED) which may have saved Heslin’s life.

“It’s pretty simple. MGM had a duty to keep the premises safe and to be able to respond to an event like this,” Orlando De Castroverde, a associate at De Castroverde Law Group, told The Post.

He added that it appeared restaurant employees “weren’t prepared to handle that type of situation,” and that security had been “just standing around” while Heslin was clearly struggling from a coronary heart assault.

Describing their alleged actions as “incompetence,” he speculated as to whether or not the incident was down to a “lack of training or supervision.”

Restaurant employees had been also accused of performing too slowly.

“Obviously, when there’s a sudden medical emergency, time is of the essence, and in this situation, instead of responding quickly and swiftly to provide medical care or to retrieve an AED, instead they fumbled, and time was wasted and an AED was not presented or used,” Mummery said.

Heslin’s devastated widower is still struggling to come to phrases with what occurred some 15 months on, his attorneys said.

“This is obviously very hard for Nicholas to have to relive. The loss of his husband has been very challenging for him to deal with,” Mummery said.

“Right now, he’s just still kind of processing everything, and I think ultimately he wants accountability, and also to ensure that things like this don’t get swept under the rug,” she said.

Heslin died in the hospital on July 2, 2024, a week after the incident at the Vegas Mexican restaurant.

An official trigger of death for the actor, who starred in the Zoe Saldana sequence “Lioness” and TV film “The Holiday Plan,” shouldn’t be listed in the lawsuit.

As half of the criticism, filed at the district court in Clark County, Nevada, attorneys are in search of in extra of $30,000, including funeral bills and punitive damages.

Representatives for Javier’s Restaurant in Las Vegas, ARIA Resort & Casino, and MGM Resorts didn’t reply immediately to requests for remark.
