Netflix viewers have been bingeing No One Saw Us Leave ever since it dropped on the streaming platform last week. 

Fans have been anxious to be taught what actually occurred to Valeria, Leo, Tamara and Isaac after watching the Netflix dramatisation of the household’s wrestle.

The sequence follows the real-life story of a mom who desperately pursues her husband, who kidnaps their kids and takes them to Europe.

Valeria Goldberg (Tessa Ía) will stop at nothing to get her kids back, enlisting a former Mossad agent to help her observe down estranged husband Leo Saltzman (Emiliano Zurita).

The story also highlights the conflict between two highly effective Jewish households in Sixties Mexico, as Valeria faces backlash from her neighborhood and Leo is manipulated by his father, influential businessman Samuel Saltzman (Juan Manuel Bernal).

In the end, Leo is pressured to return to Mexico and face a honest custody trial against his estranged spouse Valeria, following a court ruling in Jerusalem.

Ultimately, he tires of obeying his overbearing father Samuel and condemning Tamara (Marion Siro) and Isaac (Alexander Varela) to a life on the run.

This leads him to finally flip over the kids to Valeria, who is finally reunited with their children after months of looking out.

The restricted sequence No One Saw Us Leave is based on Tamara Trottner’s 2024 memoir Nadie nos vio partir, in which she recounts her real-life experiences of being kidnapped by her father as his household tried to keep the kids from their mom. 

In actuality, the kids actually did reunite with their mom after their father handed them over.

Tamara launched her memoir Nadie nos vio partir (No One Saw Us Leave) in 2020.

In 2024, Tamara launched her second ebook Pronunciaré sus nombre (I Will Say Their Names), which tells the story of her maternal grandparents, who fled to Mexico following persecution at the fingers of the Nazis and Russians. 

While Tamara doesn’t share a lot about her non-public life, she is believed to be married, as she was pictured with a ring on her marriage ceremony finger next to a man in Sri Lanka earlier in 2025.

Speaking about her memoir in 2022, Tamara told Mexican publication Chilango in 2022: “Today, I always say that I am, not in spite of this story, but thanks to this story I am who I am.”

She has also described how “lucky” she feels to have an “awesome mum”, suggesting their relationship has remained intact despite the dramatic sequence of occasions.
