Happy Days alum Henry Winkler has made his ideas on doubtlessly doing Dancing With the Stars completely clear–and he isn’t the only superstar who has shared their lack of enthusiasm when it comes to becoming a member of the competitors collection.

The show, which is predicted to return for a landmark thirty fifth season on ABC in the autumn, has featured a quantity of celebrities over the years, from actors, singers, athletes, and social media mavericks.

However, while followers are always left questioning the standing of their favourite professional dancer and also call for their superstar favorites to compete, not everyone seems to be in doing the show.

The latest to seemingly show they don’t need to compete is Winkler, 80, who had a hilarious exchange with William Shatner online over the chance.

Shatner, who is mates with former host Tom Bergeron, took to social media to publicly ask the actor if he wished him to put in a good phrase for him with the show.

“Henry! Speaking of Superman, I saw your repost of the Fonzie dance. I’m sure you can still do that. You want me to see if they have an opening on Dancing With the Stars next season?” Shatner requested on X (previously Twitter).

“Love to you, but NO dancing, thank you,” Winkler replied.

Of course, Winkler isn’t the only superstar to have turned down the show during its storied run.

Here’s a record of some notable celebrities who have opted not to put on their dancing footwear.
