The Graham Platner Redemption Tour Hits a Snag | Political News

On Tuesday, Graham Platner formally grew to become the Democrat Senate nominee for Maine, simply besting two other candidates, including Gov. Janet Mills, the Schumer-backed Democrat who had suspended her marketing campaign in late April but who reminded voters during the Platner sexting revelations that she was still on the first poll – and that the votes would depend.

Platner has confronted one self-inflicted scandal after another for almost everything of his marketing campaign so far, including news of a Nazi tattoo he is had on his chest for many years. The most troubling news about Platner, however, entails critical allegations of bodily abuse and obsessively controlling habits from an ex-girlfriend named Lyndsey Fifield.

Because of all of that, he and his staunchest allies, including Rep. Ro Khanna (CA-17) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), kicked off his basic election marketing campaign by leaning tougher on the story of the supposed “redemption” of a modified man whose alleged post-Iraq struggle PTSD and over-reliance on alcohol during his darker days brought on him to say and do unhealthy issues that he claims he regrets.

Another allegation Fifield made was that Platner certainly knew precisely what the Nazi tattoo symbolized, one thing she wrote in a non-public group chat to pals in August 2025, properly before the story broke and brought on complications for Platner. She told the Times that Platner referred to it as “my Totenkopf.”

Platner and his marketing campaign have sought to discredit Fifield as a right-wing operative, and he “strongly disputed” Fifield’s recollection of what was said about the tattoo, per the Times.

But in a new wrinkle for the Platner marketing campaign, another alleged ex has stepped ahead to also counsel he knew the which means of the tattoo, and this one will not be so straightforward to dismiss as a vengeful political operative:

Maine Senate nominee Graham Platner stored his hideous Nazi tattoo to remind himself “the US was the evil bad guy overseas,” according to an ex-girlfriend with whom he cheated on his fiancée in 2021.

The left-wing streamer, who spoke to The Post, is the second girl to say that Platner knew about the fascist origin of his Totenkopf cranium and crossbones tattoo — despite his claims that he didn’t understand it was a Third Reich image until last fall.

Her assertions had been backed up by texts reviewed by The Post that she’d despatched to her mother in September 2025 in which she blasted him for his “Nazi tattoo,” “small d—k” and claims that he tarnished her repute by utilizing her to step out on his fiancée.

[…]

The pair began speaking in February 2021 and dated until mid-July 2021, she said.

The Post confirmed that the lady had a number of posts on social media alluding to a dalliance with “Graham” during that time period.

The girl spoke to the Post on the condition of anonymity and said he never bodily abused her, but as famous above, they reviewed her social media posts from the timeframe she says she dated him, as properly as the texts she despatched her mother and pals, and confirmed she was legit.

Here are some of the texts, some of which had been despatched to pals in 2021, that talked about “Graham” and some that had been despatched in August and September of 2025 about the Nazi tattoo (language warning):

Though the X person would not have any texts of her time with Platner, she shared a formal assertion on the social media platform, alleging that she confirmed it was a Nazi tattoo straight with him after that they had been “intimate”:

Judging by the outcomes of the first, it’s clear that a majority of the Democrats who voted would not care if it had been found that Platner kicked puppies, crushed butterflies with his naked hand, and stole previous girls’ purses, a lot less be a Nazi sympathizer and allegedly emotionally and bodily abusive in direction of a girl, as long as he gave the Democrats control of the United States Senate.

But sadly for Platner, he also wants unbiased voters to vote for him if he’s going to defeat Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), and he’s going to discover them to be a more durable promote than whatever Democrat holdouts are left for him to strive and win over. Plus, the NRSC hasn’t even began dumping their oppo, which is said to be so unhealthy that Platner is likely to be better off transferring out of the state.

I’m eagerly trying ahead to that, because so far, he has seemed just like the Teflon candidate. But there’s a chink in that armor someplace, and from the sounds of it, the NRSC is ready for the right time to expose it. Stay tuned.
