Knix Launches ACOTAR Lingerie Collection in…
If Sarah J. Maas’s “fairy smut” has you needing backup for your ‘wettest moments’, this underwear model is right here to take in the blow — up to 11 tremendous tampons’ price, to be precise.
Underwear model Knix has launched a spicy new assortment in collaboration with Sarah J. Maas, writer of the hit fantasy-romance sequence “A Court of Thorns and Roses.”
Knix CMO Cynthia Leo isn’t shying away from the raunchy theme. “We make leak-proof underwear, and the books are a little saucy,” she quipped, “so we wanted to be there for all of your wettest moments.”

The cheeky ACOTAR x Knix line claims its leak-proof underwear absorbs the equal of “up to 11 super tampons.” The model markets itself on being eqipped to deal with period blood, sweat, pee and discharge.
Maas’ ebook sequence debuted in 2015, and the viral franchise has since impressed merchandise collabs ranging from Sam’s Club throw blankets to $700 ball robes.
The new line options units themed around the sequence’ fictional courts: floral pairs for the Spring Court and seductive lingerie made for “deep bonds and a little spice” for the Night Court.
The ACOTAR X Knix Collection launched lingerie, sleepwear, and Knix’s signature leakproof underwear impressed by the sequence.
The Autumn and Summer Courts get their own impressed designs, alongside merch that includes fashionable sequence catchphrases like a t-shirt that says“ darling” and another with the “bat boyfriends” – based on the male characters.
Knix teamed up with 40 diehard followers to help design the gathering. Influencers flown to New York for the model launch praised how the road channeled Maas’ strong feminine characters.
A major purpose of the crossover is to appeal to long-time readers and sequence newcomers alike, attempting to keep the designs common. It joins a growing record of ACOTAR lingerie partnerships—including For Love and Lemons’ fairy-core fashion line, that includes underwear labeled with the male characters’ names.
Fairy smut is a sub-genre of “Romantasy” (romance and fantasy) where the fairy males are muscular, legendary males who have magic and powers. The fairy males usually fall in love with a human lady, have tons of inappropriate encounters and then the lady turns into a fairy too.
Their wings and powers make the characters have summary intercourse – where they’ll sometimes read each other’s minds, have intercourse mid-air, or trigger destruction.

Maas has ceaselessly defended the specific romantic themes in her books, pushing back against critics who dismiss the style. She has spoke out on podcasts to call out critics who use the phrase ‘smut’ to dismiss her work and the misogyny behind those who assume smut is unserious literary work.
“I find that there is a tendency for people to roll their eyes at things that bring joy. And bring women joy, especially. And it pisses me the fuck off constantly,” Maas shared on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper.

Fans of the sequence have blended emotions about the new line, with some followers commenting that the road ‘isn’t whimsical enough’ and appears to be like ‘too basic.’
“We need whimsical, magical, royal. These garments could have been in the collection of any department store. I don’t see ACOTAR in any of this,” quipped one person.
But others assume the leakproof underwear might be a big help when studying the latest ebook.
“Gorgeous AND can stand the test of watery bowels?? Sign me up,” said one Instagrammer.
