Trump Taps Special Envoy to Support US Landowners

Country famous person John Rich has been tapped by President Trump to serve as a Special Envoy for American Landowners, the Agriculture Department (USDA) announced in a press release this week.

Rich hopped on X on June 8 to inform followers how honored he was to serve as a conduit between the federal authorities and the long-silenced voices of farmers, ranchers, and other landowners. 

The post, which ended with an emoji of an American flag, read:

President Trump has afforded me the great honor to serve in his administration as the “Special Envoy for American Landowners.” In this function, I look ahead to representing and advocating for landowners’ rights against any entity that chooses to harass or intimidate them in an effort to obtain objectives opposite to those of the President. I look ahead to defending our farmers and ranchers

Rich already appears conscious of some of the problems with which many farmers and landowners are burdened in relation to the Left’s wrongheaded inexperienced vitality insurance policies. For instance, on June 7, he wrote on an X post by GOP gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman:

John Rich is not the only Conservative in the music world, as RedState just lately wrote about Jon Ondrasik of Five for Fighting’s strong endorsement of his good friend, former professional sports activities broadcaster Michele Tafoya, for U.S. Senate in Minnesota.

He’s also been a common function in these pages. Rep.Tim Burchett (TN-02), as we wrote earlier in June, urged his good friend Rich as an different performer for the Freedom 250 show; when many of the artists – like Martina McBride – dropped out.

The new Special Envoy also reacted to EPA (Environment Protection Agency) administrator and former Republican New York consultant, Lee Zeldin’s remarks on farmers in Upstate NY being pressured by Democrats in the blue state, including from Gov. Kathy Hochul (D), over a inexperienced vitality mandate.

Zeldin said bureaucrats in Albany, and the governor, have been in cahoots to infringe on New Yorkers’ rights, stomping on local authorities control, stating in a video X post that by

[o]verriding local control, Albany politicians have massively ramped up their railroading of upstate communities, forcing them to take on the burden of far more photo voltaic farms on farmland. While in the southern tier this morning, I spoke out on behalf of the many upstate residents who  and opinions ignored and rejected by Governor Hochul and her henchmen of energy hungry, out of contact Albany bureaucrats.

Rich replied to Zeldin’s post that he was “exactly right” to take on these leftists attempting to bully the landowners in his state:

While Rich may need his arms full with a profitable music profession, hopefully he might be in a position to use his microphone and platform to give some pushback to the blue state leaders attempting to cram inexperienced vitality down farmers’ and ranchers’ throats.
