The Office star Leslie David Baker opens Honey…

Did we stutter?

“The Office” star Leslie David Baker, best know for his portrayal of the perennially disgruntled and witty Stanley Hudson in the NBC sitcom, has opened a new Honey Baked Ham location in the San Fernando Valley.

The Sherman Oaks location — collectively owned and operated by Baker and Tony Vennie, both residents of the neighborhood — will offer the Detroit-founded retailer’s signature choice of hams, turkeys, pre-cooked entrees, facet dishes and desserts.

The Screen Actors Guild Award winner partnered with Vennie, an entrepreneur, music producer and model strategist with expertise in luxurious retail and property management, to launch the institution, per Patch.com.

While the new store opened June 22 at 14427 Ventura Blvd. a company consultant told Patch, its official grand opening celebration is deliberate for July 11, with additional particulars to be announced at a later date.

“Growing up, HoneyBaked was always part of our holiday traditions,” Vennie said. “It’s a brand that brings people together around great food and meaningful moments.”

Now based in Georgia, Honey Baked has expanded to almost 500 areas across the United States, including areas across Los Angeles in Glendale, Culver City and Pasadena. The company, which also operates as an e-commerce business, is privately owned by descendants of authentic founder Harry Hoenselaar.

In 1924, Hoenselaar invented the bone-in spiral-slicer that cooked and smoked ham, but the machine invention was of no curiosity to any meat company for the first 24 years of its existence. Now, the store continues the sale of its Signature Bone-In Half Ham, in addition to offering pre-made lunches and catering.
