Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby didn’t mince phrases when he shared his opinion on the Los Angeles Chargers and their fans.

Maxx Crosby tells NEON that the Chargers have the most poisonous fan base in the NFL 😳“f*ck the Chargers and all those teams… I don’t like any of them…” pic.twitter.com/WEXoq5vIG4— Wire (@StreamerWire) July 12, 2026
“Playing against Herbert or Mahomes, I f——g terrorize them,” Crosby told N3on. “Barking in their ear, doing all types of crazy s–t. I f—–g laid it on Herbert this year. He was barking in my ear and I f—–g shoved him and he went flying down. Their fanbase came at me like you f—–g junkie, crackhead mother——. Nonstop. But they’re crazy though.”
N3on proceeded to ask Crosby who he thinks has the most poisonous fanbase in the NFL. He selected the Chargers and explained why.
“I think the Chargers do because they got a smaller fanbase. They started in San Diego, they’re not really an LA team. They’re not from LA. So their fans feel like they need to be louder because they don’t have numbers like us. So they’re real toxic,” Crosby said.
“And I respect it though because if it pissed me off so that means they’re doing a pretty good job talking s–t. And they don’t stop.”

The Chargers left their longtime home in San Diego prior to the 2017 NFL season for Los Angeles. Chairman and staff proprietor Dean Spanos controversially moved the franchise, but the fans, whether or not driving north up the I-5 or residing regionally, clearly still maintain disdain for the Raiders.
The Chargers will host the Raiders in Week 2 on Sept. 20, where there may be infamously dangerous blood between the AFC West rivals.
