Concerned about her wellbeing and health, her son Michael (Paul Ready) organises for her to be offered with an AI eldercare robot, a lot to her dissatisfaction.

“There had been occasions, sitting on the mattress, where I assumed, ‘I’m gonna cry, I’m gonna cry’. And I can not cry, I’m a robot. It was actually tough.”
While the pair’s early interactions were uncomfortable, the episode drew to a close on a moving note.
Having a change of heart about returning Linda, Sue chooses to hold on to the robot a little longer as she proves invaluable in helping her cope with her loneliness and grief, giving rise to an unlikely connection forming between the two.
