Tyson Fury is not going to earn a penny from his battle with Mariusz Wach, with his purse going to charity instead. He said: “I’ll always be a big title. I still really feel the best is yet to come. I do not really feel just like the world’s seen the best of Tyson Fury yet.

“I’ve been over here [Thailand] since December. Beautiful people, beautiful place. I feel at peace with everything, whereas before I had a lot of pressure on me. I thrive better in a warmer climate and I feel rejuvenated.”

Fury weighed in 26lbs lighter than Wach. The Gypsy King scaled 265lbs, having clocked in at 267.9lbs before outpointing Arslanbek Makhmudov last time out in April. Wach got here in at 291.4lbs – 17lbs heavier than his last battle in March.
