South Park to rebrand as South America ahead…
The creators of “South Park” plan to rebrand the favored animated sequence “South America” ahead of its season premiere — in a sarcastic swipe at President Trump’s latest name-changing frenzy.
The hit comedy show joked that it will now be named after the United States’ southern neighbor, in line with Trump’s feverish adoption of the phrase America, ahead of its new season in an X post Tuesday.

Trump’s latest patriotic renaming spree included the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario, newly dubbing them the Gulf of America and Lake America, respectively.
An image of the animated sequence’ title change also accompanied the post, which has the phrase “America” slapped across “Park” in the show’s title.
The cheeky post went on to thank “South Park” mother or father company Paramount – snidely referring to them as “A Skydance Capitulation.”
The swipe performs at the full title of the company – Paramount Skydance – and references a settlement the leisure conglomerate reached with Trump as half of a lawsuit he filed against Paramount Global, prior to its merger with Skydance, and CBS last yr.
