Rightwing podcaster Ben Shapiro blasted the New York Times for its coverage of the twenty fifth anniversary of the 9/11 assaults, as its web site displayed two tales referencing Islamophobia.
In a post on X Friday that racked up more than 440,000 views, Shapiro wrote: “If you were an alien who landed on Earth this morning, and you were reading the top headlines on the NYT’s webpage, you would immediately assume that 9/11 was an attack on Muslims.”
