Alert National Guard Members in D.C. Stop

President Donald Trump delivered phrases of encouragement to National Guard members when he confirmed up in particular person on Thursday night time to thank them and other federal law enforcement for their service in serving to to scale back crime in town.

Two members of the District of Columbia National Guard alerted local law enforcement to a doubtlessly life-threatening scenario involving a man brandishing a knife and threatening another man at the Waterfront Metro station in Washington, Aug. 18.

Army Spc. Tra’shwn Parham and Army Capt. Giho Yang have been patrolling the metro station as half of the D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force, Joint Task Force District of Columbia, when Parham said she noticed and overheard the person brandishing the knife and making verbal threats. She said she immediately called the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, which responded to the incident. 

Parham said they confirmed their “presence and then made sure that citizens around that area were safe,” and people thanked them for that. 

Had they not been there, who is aware of what that may need deteriorated into? Yet, I’m not seeing this story reported by national media.

It’s not just crime prevention, as I famous in my earlier story in which local teenagers got here out to discuss with the Guard members. They have been giving them a great instance of good position fashions.

She softly says, “Thank you so much” at about 22 seconds in the clip. He replies, “No problem, ma’am.” He even said, “Have a good night, ma’am” as he left. They’re serving to to change issues for the better and making people really feel protected, as they need to in our nation’s capital. 

These are the people the leftist protesters are screaming about. 

Whatever the Democrats or the left say, this is the truth, and good on the Guard for doing their half to help Americans.
