Viewers of American Idol are laughing at judge Luke Bryan for one odd detail they spotted about him several times throughout Season 23’s premiere.

The March 10th episode saw Carrie Underwood, who won American Idol Season 4, make her debut as a judge, as contestants auditioned with powerful performances.

However, some fans couldn’t help but notice Bryan making strange facial expressions whenever a contestant was singing on the hit ABC singing competition show.

They discussed his reactions to contestants on a Reddit board called: Why Does Luke Always Make A Face Like He Is Constipated Every Time Someone Is Singing?

In the comments section, one fan simply wrote: “LMAOOOO,” as another joked: “He’s constipated.”

Another added: “Is this all about Carrie now?? Where’s her scare?”

A third said: “Can Carrie sit down please,” as a fourth penned: “Carrie Underwood is so cringe.”

Fans previously wrote online that they’re boycotting American Idol’s new season after Underwood performed at Donald Trump‘s inauguration.

After trio of judges appeared on GMA on March 5, one person wrote online: “Won’t be watching. Carrie Underwood doesn’t care about truth-telling since she performed for the lying president. No more @carrieunderwood for me.”

Fans also recently fumed about the singer after a first look at the new season premiered following the Oscars on ABC.

One fan wrote: “I refuse to watch carrie underwood on @AmericanIdol,” and a second added: “I hope many drag carrie #MAGA UNDERWOOD into a terrible time.#americanidol.”

A third shared to X: “Nobody’s watching American Idol especially with Carrie Underwood’s maga loving a–,” as a fourth said: “I’m not watching miss carrie maga underwood. I only watched the Fox version of American Idol. Not this catastrophe. #Oscars.”

A fifth shared: “Remember, Carrie Underwood supports a 34 time convicted felon in Donald Trump, someone who also allegedly raped 14 year old girls! That’s who Carrie Underwood is!”

Meanwhile, viewers commended Lionel Richie for surprising a contestant by calling her favorite artist, Patti LaBelle.

Contestant Kolbi entered the audition room with confidence and told the judges about her love for LaBelle before Bryan told her that Richie had the legendary singer on speed dial.

She warned him not to call her before singing Epiphany (I’m Leaving) by Chrisette Michele, but after she stunned with her audition, the Motown star couldn’t help but call LaBelle, who wished her luck.

Fans online were shocked by the moment and took to X, with one person writing: “kolbi did amazing and the song choice wheeww,” as another added: “So Kolbi just began and ended #AmericanIdol with the audition???”
