Apple Martin is said to be clashing with her A-list mom following the 21-year-old’s disappointing live music premiere last October.

Sources talking to Radar Online declare the pair have been locked in disputes, with Gwyneth encouraging Apple to ‘block out the haters’ and get back on stage, while Apple stays deflated by the cruel online backlash to her bid to observe her father Chris Martin into the music business.

The Hollywood offspring has reportedly been ‘lashing out at her mother,’ whom she feels pressured her into the public eye prematurely.

Apple stepped onto the live music scene on October 17, 2025, performing alongside the band Jade Street in Nashville, Tennessee. Footage of the socialite’s vocal efficiency unfold across social media platforms, where she confronted relentless ridicule for her underwhelming debut.

Sources counsel Apple felt embarrassed and now needs to abandon her musical ambitions, but her mom is resisting that resolution. 

“Apple is sensitive, and she’s been hit very hard by the negative reaction to her performance. The comments have been brutal! All the talk about nepotism and her being out of her depth has left her feeling very defeated,” the source disclosed.

“She’s upset and lashing out at her mom and complaining that she’s pushed her too hard to be in the spotlight,” the insider continued.

Express US has reached out to Gwyneth Paltrow’s representatives for remark. 

The 53-year-old Goop founder, who is also a well-known Hollywood nepo child, has reportedly urged her daughter to “block out the haters” and “get back on stage as soon as possible.”

Apple is said to be “not ready” and needs to “take a major breather,” but Gwyneth “won’t hear it,” and maintains that she “needs to get a thicker skin” and that this is “just a healthy learning experience” for the budding performer.

Gwyneth’s pushy parenting fashion is allegedly creating stress between them as the aspiring artist tries to rebuild her confidence following her rocky first efficiency.

“Gwyneth doesn’t believe she’d be doing Apple any favors by backing down on this,” the source revealed. “She knows her daughter and says she knows what’s best for her. No doubt it’s coming from a loving place, but it’s starting to suffocate Apple.”

Despite her seemingly limitless music industry contacts through her rockstar father and her mom’s concerned method, Apple has not achieved success as a vocalist.
