The “Have Mercy” singer was at the receiving end of some severe backlash after she attended a Ye–previously recognized as Kanye West–live performance in Los Angeles.
Bailey was in attendance for Ye’s sold-out efficiency at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles last week, and while at the live performance, she posted a number of videos gushing over the expertise, writing captions including “legendary” and “so inspired.” While a lot of celebrities, and common of us, who attended the show had been closely criticized, Chlöe’s attendance prompted some additional eye rolls due to her connection to Beyoncé. She is signed to the singer’s label and management company, Parkwood Entertainment, and has long been embraced by B.
While Ye used to have a strong connection to Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, that friendship is probably going over. After years of speculated pressure between the previous associates and collaborators, Ye tweeted terrible allegations about the couple’s youngsters, which appears fairly unimaginable to come back from.
Following Bailey’s eagerness to post live performance footage, followers had been sure that Bey can be upset with the singer. But, Chlöe rapidly shut that down, posting a selfie of her and Beyoncé just a few days after the controversial live performance.
On Tuesday, April 7, Bey hosted a personal event for the launch of Cécred’s new styling assortment, bringing together close associates, household, and followers to rejoice the milestone, as BOSSIP beforehand reported. In addition to B, her mom, Tina Knowles, and daughter, Blue Ivy, Chlöe Bailey was also in attendance, becoming in completely with the all-white theme.
It was there that Bailey took some selfies with bosswoman Bey, with both girls smiling ear-to-ear in their image. While Chlöe’s invite to the event serves as enough evidence that she’s still good with Mrs. Carter, her posting that selfie serves as a refined clap back for anybody considering in any other case.
When Bailey posted the snap to Instagram, associates and followers flooded the feedback to help her simple shut down tactic.
“EXACTLY!!!! Cause what was said??!!! ,” Jessie Woo commented.
Another remark reads, “That’s how you clear um! Canceled where?????? HELLO.”
