As May prepared for a passionate discussion with Welsh farmers about agriculture and wildlife issues, he mourned the impending dispersal of Freddie’s cherished belongings: “Tomorrow whereas I’m talking passionately to Welsh farmers about cows and badgers and bovine TB, Freddie’s most intimate personal results, and writings that have been half of what we shared for therefore a few years, will go beneath the hammer, to be knocked down to the best bidder and dispersed eternally,” he grieved.

In his post, he expressed that he “cannot look” at Freddie’s cherished possessions being sold off, as it is “too unhappy” for him and his loved ones.

Freddie’s younger sister Kashmira, 73, was also distressed by the auction and found herself compelled to buy back precious memorabilia that belonged to the late star in order to keep it within the family.

She reportedly didn’t want Mary, 74, to know she was bidding at the auction, so she and her son Jamal Zook did it anonymously.
