Bridgerton Season 4’s finale has been labeled “unhinged,” with viewers being urged to continue watching after it seems to conclude.
Netflix’s beloved romantic drama returned for the second half of season 4 this week, once again chronicling Benedict Bridgerton’s (performed by Luke Thompson) tumultuous love story with Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha).
Despite quite a few obstacles throughout, the couple achieves their completely satisfied ending as they return to the gazebo where they first danced and affirm their love with a kiss. Naturally, as the credit then start to roll, viewers have been turning off Bridgerton, only to uncover that this is not truly the conclusion.
Just moments later, a post-credit scene begins to play and it is one of the most vital moments in the narrative, as it depicts Benedict and Sophie’s wedding ceremony day.
Subscribers have been taking to X to spotlight this essential scene, with many calling this modifying choice “unhinged.”

A viewer responded, “I finished the show(or so I thought), saw this tweet and went back to the credits,” with another including, “Didn’t know there was a wedding until I saw this tweet.”
A fellow fan commented, “It’s so ridiculous…so many people are going to miss it.”

Another viewer described the mid-credits wedding ceremony scene as “crazy work” while another person exclaimed, “If I hadn’t let the show finish whilst I checked my messages I wouldn’t have seen this season’s main ship wedding! What was this choice I can’t understand.”
One viewer added, “Putting the main ship’s wedding in the mid-credits is actually unhinged. We waited seasons for that and you hide it like a Marvel easter egg? ? Bridgerton really said ‘if you blink, you miss the marriage.'”

Penelope Bridgerton (Nicola Coughlan) goes on to query Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd) if she would ever get married again, to which she shrugs off as a particular no.
The ceremony then commences as Sophie walks down the aisle at My Cottage to her husband-to-be who she refers to as “Benedict,” signifying that she now sees them as equals.
As the marriage unfolds, the digicam pans inside My Cottage to reveal a portrait of Sophie as the Silver Lady, with Benedict’s title scribbled in the nook.
