Chad Johnson couldn’t maintain back his feelings when speaking about good friend Antonio Brown’s arrest.
The former Steelers and Buccaneers star receiver was arrested Thursday in Dubai and extradited to the U.S. on costs of tried homicide stemming from a capturing incident at a superstar boxing event in Miami back in May.
Johnson, who has identified Brown since he was in high college, acquired emotional as he weighed in on the state of affairs during the “Nightcap” podcast with co-host Shannon Sharpe.

“I tried to talk to him,” said the previous receiver, combating back tears at one level. “It damage to see that it’s come to this level. I don’t know how issues are going to prove, but possibly this is one thing he would possibly need, one thing to deliver him back home and get him back on the fitting observe. Brown, 37, was apprehended by U.S. Marshals on Thursday. A date for switch to Miami-Dade County has not yet been formally set.
He was at large since an arrest warrant was issued in June.

Brown was abroad at the time and remained there on a $10,000 home arrest bond.
The four-time All-Pro, who remained energetic on social media while abroad, was taken into custody at Newark Airport in New Jersey and was awaiting switch from Essex County jail, NBC6 Miami reported.
The May incident that landed Brown under arrest noticed him caught on a viral video claiming he was jumped in an tried theft.

It confirmed Brown, who was detained and launched by police at the scene, allegedly getting into a bodily scrap with males in a parking zone before gunfire could possibly be heard.
