The late Charlie Kirk’s group, Turning Point USA, has announced plans to host its own Super Bowl Halftime Show, following criticism from many conservatives for the NFL’s selection of Bad Bunny.
On Thursday, Oct. 9, the nonprofit, co-founded by Kirk and now headed by his widow, Erika Kirk, took to its X, previously Twitter, account to announce that it will be internet hosting its own Super Bowl Halftime Show on the same day as the big recreation.
They wrote, “HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT. It’s true, Turning Point USA is thrilled to announce The All American Halftime Show. Performers and event details coming soon. 2.8.2026.”
While the event’s particulars, including who will carry out, have yet to be announced, on the web site, one of the choices on the signup sheet under “what genre of music” customers favor is “anything in English.”
This comes after many right-wingers, members of President Donald Trump‘s administration, and even Trump himself have slammed the NFL for selecting Bad Bunny as next 12 months’s performer.
