CNN descends into chaos with furious fight over | TV Shows
Chaos ensued on CNN following the explosive headline that US President Donald Trump has been labeled “chicken” by Wall Street executives. During an episode of NewsNight with Abby Phillip, a heated debate broke out between podcast host Kmele Foster and Canadian business mogul Kevin O’Leary, also known as Mr. Wonderful, regarding the state of unemployment in the United States.
As the breaking news ticker scrolled across the screen stating, “Trump erupts over Wall Street referring to him as ‘chicken,'” Foster initiated the discussion by asking, “Well here’s the question. What percentage of job loss is fine and okay when the President of the United States-” but was swiftly interrupted, just like an earlier segment over Elon Musk’s awkward problem.
Kevin O’Leary retorted, “There’s no job loss. We’re almost at full employment, what are you talking about?! There’s no job loss in America!”
Foster attempted to counter, “Is the claim that there have been absolutely no jobs lost because of the disruptions created by the tariffs-” only to be cut off again by O’Leary, who insisted, “You can say that, but you better read the numbers. We’re almost full employment! What are you talking about?”
O’Leary continued to defend his stance, asserting, “The economy’s on fire. What are you talking about?” reports the Express.
However, Kevin stood his ground, vehemently denying her claim, “That’s not what the numbers say. The number one destination for invested capital on earth, is still over 50% in America.”
He exclaimed emphatically, “Tonight! Tonight! Right now! So I don’t what you’re talking about, ‘we’re a laughing stock.’ The money pours in. Trillions of dollars comes to America. Why? Best place to invest on Earth.”
