Conor McGregor preparing for monumental retirement | MMA News
Conor McGregor is readying a monumental end to his preventing profession.
Love him or hate him, win or lose, ‘The Notorious’ stays the largest title the game has ever seen; no one comes close. But all good issues come to an end, and that is the case for the Irishman’s time in the UFC. With one combat remaining on his contract, McGregor desires to exit with a bang. An event not like ever before and a trace at a return of the outdated, hungry, unhinged McGregor.
Watching others combat is giving Conor McGregor that aggressive itch. Witnessing Canelo Alvarez seize the WBC tremendous middleweight title on Saturday, McGregor couldn’t help but criticize the Mexican. The UFC star believes, even at 38 with just one combat in the last 5 years, he still attracts more eyes than today’s greats.
“How many views did the Canelo combat get? How many in attendance? Gate?” McGregor wrote on X. “Man I outdo ALL of these people in gross sales. Majorly. EVERY SINGLE ONE. With ease. Maybe even mixed.”
Conor McGregor presently holds 8 of the top 10 pay-per-view buys in UFC historical past. His star energy has never been matched in the game of blended martial arts, but past success hasn’t evaporated his starvation.
Determined to make the closing combat of his profession his largest yet, McGregor has his sights set on outdoing information he set a decade earlier.
“I used to be on the same time as the World Cup semi closing and still performed all them numbers in that last bullshit that I’ve to sit with for another few months before I return,” McGregor added.
“I’m going to really attempt to promote the combat for my next one. My closing combat. See what numbers I can generate. Keep outdoing my own information.”

I don’t even be attempting.
