“His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence,” the Palace continued. “Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”
As for Prince Harry, his and his spouse’s estrangement from the remaining of the royal household largely continued throughout the yr – although he and King Charles did share a short reunion in September.
