He continued: “And here’s a pro tip about washing your hands if they’re getting dried out – carry a moisturiser with you, use a mild detergent, or wash your hands with an aqueous cream, which is what I do when I’m working in GP land.”
How to tackle symptoms
He then outlined what steps to take if you start feeling under the climate. Dr Sooj said: “If you do get sick, these are the things that do and don’t work.
“So keep nicely hydrated as this can soothe your throat, ease congestion and it could stop dehydration, you’ll be able to attempt mixing scorching water with apple juice for additional consolation. Remember, honey and lemon are great for sore throat. And while tons of people do advocate vitamin C and zinc, research do show blended outcomes.
