DWTS fans slam Elaine Hendrix remaining in | TV Shows
Elaine Hendrix missed the Halloween evening episode of Dancing with the Stars after struggling an injury, which despatched fans into a frenzy; however, some are now expressing anger that she is still in the competitors.
The Parent Trap star, 54, suffered a rib injury during costume rehearsals before the Tuesday episode of the ABC show, forcing her to head to the hospital and miss her efficiency. The judges instead scored her footage from a earlier rehearsal.
However, after she was saved from an elimination that some fans deemed “unfair,” others criticized the actress for not dropping out, which allowed Jen Affleck and Jan Ravnik to depart from the show.
Now, after confirming she would return after receiving clearance from medical doctors, some are persevering with to criticize her continued look on the show.
Taking to social media, some slammed her for still performing.
“So Elaine didn’t have to dance, Efron has two left feet, Andy is awful, and Danielle is awful, but Jen gets voted off? Wish this was based off dance rather than popularity,” one individual wrote on X (previously Twitter).
“I’m glad Elaine is moving forward, but it doesn’t seem fair that someone who danced is being sent home over someone who didn’t,” another said.
“Should’ve been Elaine…she wasn’t even there,” a third added.
Hendrix and her companion, Alan Bersten, 31, took to Instagram after she was launched from the hospital to share that she was back up and about, but was taking a few days off from rehearsing–with every intention of still getting back onto the ballroom ground for Tuesday’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night episode.
The remaining performances will all be Contemporary or Paso Doble routines.
Andy Richter, Emma Slater, Danielle Fishel, and Pasha Pashkov are foing contemporaries, set to “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys and “Dream On” by Aerosmith, respectively.
Meanwhile, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, Robert Irwin, Witney Carson, Whitney Leavitt, and Mark Ballas will all do the Paso Doble.
They are performing to Bon Jovi’s Livin’ On a Prayer, The White Stripes Icky Thump and Ozzy Osbourne’s No More Tears.
