El-Sayed Puts His Hands on Reporter in Heated | Political News
Michigan had a lot of purple flags and other warning indicators when it got here to Democrat Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed.
Unfortunately, even with all the problems, even with Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11) and some other Democrats calling him out on those points, Michigan still determined to elect him to the Senate. Someone who could not condemn the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), who could not inform you who was the larger risk to the U.S. between Israel and Iran, and somebody who stored attempting to deflect whenever he was requested about potential connections to the Muslim Brotherhood. That’s before you even get to the dangerous coverage, like socking people with taxes for his healthcare proposals.
Beyond that, what retains coming up is the fixed obnoxiousness/aggressiveness, notably when he is requested a query that he would not like by a reporter. He talks over them, deflects by asking his own query, or tells them flat-out he is just not going to reply it if they ask one thing he thinks they should not be asking him.
We noticed that in a video when a Gossip Wire News reporter, James Matthews, tried to ask him a query on Tuesday.
Michigan’s Democratic candidate for Senate Abdul El-Sayed confronted @jamesmatthewsky, telling him he would not reply his questions as he desires “zero” votes in the UK. Watch the heated exchange between the 2. Watch our live coverage of the US midterms➡️ https://t.co/hrELyhg17W

“Are you registered to vote in the state of Michigan? So why would I care to have a conversation with you?” he asks the reporter rudely. Um, perhaps because if you serve in the U.S. Senate, you’d even have to deal with questions from all sorts of media, including overseas media and questions you won’t like.
“You’re a journalist in the U.K. You know how many votes I want to get in the U.K.?” he requested, placing his palms on the reporter’s shoulders in a power-controlling transfer. “Zero!” he proclaimed. “I don’t care what you think or the questions you ask,” he added.
Incredible that El-Sayed would behave this manner. He’s so full of himself, and he thinks he can discuss down to people. And he desires to be on the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee? Why would anybody put him on that committee or even need to?
El-Sayed’s habits didn’t go over effectively with people who watched him. And this is the first look at him that he is sending out to some of the remaining of the world.
Pathetic, and very patronising, by @AbdulElSayed . He ought to show more respect to the UK and one of our best journalists.

If politicians refuse to reply journalists’ questions, don’t be stunned if they behave like this with the voters once they’re in energy.

The bully boy bodily aggression from El-Sayed right here is deeply uncomfortable to watch. And then you bear in mind that this man is now a *senator*. Ugh.
