Tech billionaire Elon Musk has been summoned to the French headquarters of X after it was raided by law enforcement. 

Musk was reportedly summoned by French authorities to reply questions relating to an investigation into an alleged cybercrime involving the company’s Grok AI software. Officials posted a assertion about the raid on X.

“A search is underway by the cybercrime unit of the Paris prosecutor’s office, the national police cyber unit, and Europol as part of the investigation opened in January 2025,” Paris prosecutors wrote. “The Paris public prosecutor’s office is leaving X. Find us on Lkd and Insta.” It comes just hours after Russia issued a darkish risk to Musk.

In Paris, another official assertion said that Musk and former X CEO Linda Yaccarino would arrive in Paris for “voluntary questioning” due to their positions as “de facto and de jure managers.” It had been beforehand reported that Yaccarino had stepped down from her place in July 2025.
