EXCLUSIVE: The Odyssey passed by CBFC with ZERO | Indian Movie News
Per week is left for the release of The Odyssey and the thrill is great due to the casting and affiliation of Christopher Nolan as director. Many had been apprehensive if the movie will endure cuts from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
However, the nice news is that the CBFC has not requested for a single cut. Additionally, no dialogue or scene has been modified or tweaked in any means. The viewers in India will get to see the same cut as the remaining of the world, offered no self-censorship has been undertaken by the studio in India.
However, The Odyssey will only be for the viewers above the age of 18 as it has been given an ‘A’ certificates.
The makers of The Odyssey had been handed over the censor certificates on July 9. The size of the movie, as talked about on the censor certificates, is 172.33 minutes. In other phrases, The Odyssey is 2 hours, 52 minutes and 33 seconds long. The movie releases in cinemas on July 17.
The Oppenheimer expertise
Christopher Nolan’s earlier movie, Oppenheimer (2023), was passed with a U/A certificates with just one audio cut. But a lovemaking scene was self-censored by the makers.
