FBI Releases New Video of Kirks Shooter, Governor

On Thursday, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox and Utah Commissioner of Public Safety Bo Mason briefed the public on developments in the hunt for the individual of curiosity in the assassination of TPUSA co-founder and CEO Charlie Kirk. FBI Director Kash Patel, Deputy Director Dan Bongino, and Special Agent in Charge Robert Bohls had been in attendance, but didn’t tackle the press.

Cox opened the press convention and announced that a portion of a new video could be shared, along with enhanced stills to show to the public. Cox told the press that there could be no questions at the time.

Mason walked the press through the video. The photographs confirmed the subject transferring along the roof line from behind the building. He moved to the far proper nook of the roof, then climbed down. Mason explained that this gave the FBI palm prints and impressions from footwear, which Mason alleged had been Converse tennis footwear. Mason said this was the video evidence the FBI used to observe the suspect’s actions.

Mason then confirmed the images that had been launched earlier, but had been enhanced to show particulars of the suspect’s t-shirt, hat, and backpack. Mason requested the public to be on the lookout and to share any data that is likely to be elicited from these new distinctions. 

Gov. Cox returned to the rostrum and said plainly that “we cannot do our job without the public’s help right now.”

Cox said that they’ve acquired more than 7,000 leads and suggestions, and the dedication of the law enforcement neighborhood and partnerships over a number of states allowed them to full over 200 interviews. 

Cox requested that any videos or images be submitted to the FBI through the next channels:

Cox affirmed that they need “people all over the country who are helping to bring this perpetrator to justice for Charlie Kirk.”

Cox also warned about disinformation being unfold online regarding Kirk’s assassination. “Our adversaries want violence. I would encourage you to ignore those, to turn off those streams, and spend a little more time with your families.”

Cox was clear: 

More than something, we’re going to catch this individual. Last factor that I’ll just say is that we have now been working with our attorneys, getting every little thing we need, affidavits prepared, so we are able to pursue the death penalty in this case. And that will occur in the state of Utah.

As RedState reported earlier on Thursday, authorities revealed the new photos of the subject, along with other video that was obtained from a neighborhood surveillance digital camera.
