Pyfer (15-3) will enter the bout using a three-fight successful streak. He last fought in October, defeating Abusupiyan Magomedov via submission. A win over the No. 6 ranked former champion would catapult Pyfer up the rankings into contender standing.

In the struggle card’s co-main event, former girls’s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso returns to take on No. 5 ranked Maycee Barber.
