News channel Fox News was interrupted on Sept. 30 for President Donald Trump‘s “big” announcement about pharmaceuticals.
Fox News’ Outnumbered was halted in its first minutes and cut to Trump saying his deal with Pfizer to decrease sure drug costs. Trump has been pushing prescription drug producers to decrease U.S. costs for months.
Pfizer’s dedication might immediate more corporations to signal on. The president called it a “really big announcement,” and claimed that the deal was dubbed by many as “not doable.”

Displeased with the progress in July, Trump wrote letters to the CEOs of 17 major pharmaceutical corporations with a listing of calls for.
One of his calls for was that the producers voluntarily prolong “Most Favored Nation” to all medicines supplied to Medicaid enrollees.
He also needed the businesses to guarantee that Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial-market insurers pay such costs for all new medicine. The corporations had until Monday to comply.
Trump’s deal on Sept. 30 comes after he spoke with reporters from the White House garden on Tuesday morning.
He told reporters that he’ll “fire” any army chief he would not like “on the spot” as he heads to Quantico, Virginia, to attend a gathering of top commanders stationed around the world.
“I’m gonna be meeting with generals and admirals and with leaders, and if I don’t like somebody, I’m gonna fire them right on the spot,” Trump said.
