Ryan Seacrest and Derek Hough share awkward | TV Shows

It was an awkward reunion between Dancing With the Stars decide Derek Hough and Ryan Seacrest on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, after the subject of Hough’s sister, Julianne, who Seacrest famously dated for a number of years, got here up.

Things then obtained more awkward as Seacrest was seen staring at the digicam and smiling, before Hough once again began speaking and seemingly tried to end the bizarre dialog.

“Okayyy…but she crushed it, she did great,” he said.

“She did great, you’re doing great,” Seacrest completed.

The reference was due to Seacrest’s past relationship with Julianne.

The two dated from 2010-2013, before splitting up. The Footloose remake was launched in 2011.

On Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast in 2024, Julianne addressed the connection, saying that the timing led her to have fears that people thought she was utilizing Seacrest to help construct her profession. This worry brought on her to attempt and be what he needed her to be, and she finally ended the romance to construct her own title independently.

Hough went on to date hockey participant Brooks Laich shortly after and married him in 2017, though the pair cut up in 2020. Seacrest then dated Shayna Taylor on and off for eight years before their 2020 cut up, and then Aubrey Paige for three years before their cut up in 2024.
