Fox News delivered some major news about the continued battle in Iran on Wednesday, April 1, as they revealed President Donald Trump’s latest update on negotiations with the Middle Eastern nation.
The president has been issuing a number of different feedback about the battle with Iran since the U.S. and Israel began launching strikes against Iran in February.
Now, he has taken to social media once again with a chilling six-word warning for the nation, while also making a huge declare about progress in the battle he has been looking for to end, amid backlash over its affect on oil costs at home.
Taking to Truth Social, he shared his latest take, which Fox rapidly shared with followers.
In the post, he revealed that Iran had begged for a ceasefire, while also issuing a chilling six-word warning.

“Iran’s New Regime President, much less Radicalized and far more intelligent than his predecessors, just asked the United States of America for a CEASEFIRE!” he wrote.
“We will consider when Hormuz Strait is open, free, and clear. He then shared a chilling warning as he said until the Hormuz Strait is open, “we are blasting Iran into oblivion.” He added, “Or, as they say, back to the Stone Ages!!!”
Iran has since launched a assertion claiming Trump’s remarks have been “false and baseless.”
Iran’s parliamentary Revolutionary Guard also issued a statement maintaining the Strait of Hormuz “is firmly and decisively under the control” of its forces.”

“This strait will not be opened to the enemies of this nation through the ridiculous spectacle by the president of the United States,” it added.
Fox viewers, however, expressed positive views of the President’s claim regardless, taking to social media with their thoughts on the conflict.
“Iran will bend the knee,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“Good News…Price of Oil should be $60 a Barrel,” another added.

Others still expressed scepticisim however, noting that Iran had rebuked his remarks, while also sharing that they weren’t sure what was true or not as there had been conflicting messages on how the war was progressing over the weeks.
“Just don’t know what to believe anymore,” one person wrote.
“They have denied this LOL,” another said.
An additional person pointed out that the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, had been in office since 2024.

“Except, he’s not a new regime President. He’s been in office since 2024,” they said.
Its not clear if Trump was actually referring to the new Supreme ruler, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, in his post.
While Pezeshkian is the president, he ranks below Khamenei, who is taken into account the pinnacle of state and highest-ranking political and spiritual authority in the nation.
