Fox News viewers had been left entertained when host Sean Hannity went head-to-head with Stephen A. Smith.

The 79-year-old president went to Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks’ first home sport in a championship sequence in 27 years. When Trump was shown on the Jumbotron, he was met with thunderous boos from the New York crowd.

The Knicks went on to lose that sport to the San Antonio Spurs, ruining their 13-game playoff win streak.

Prior to the sport, Smith declared that he’d place the blame completely on the president if the Knicks misplaced. His argument was that Trump’s presence disrupted the constructive vibes surrounding the crew.

That has resulted in a heated back-and-forth between the First Take pundit and the president over the last few days.

During Smith’s look on Thursday’s episode of Hannity, the host said Smith “lost his mind” if he really believed Trump was to blame for the crew’s shortcomings. Smith, however, stood firm.

“They got their mojo back, OK?” Smith argued. “But before the game, I said that and I stood by it. He had no business at that game.

See, people– this is a hard conversation to your listeners out there because, like you tell me to stay in my lane when it comes to politics, you don’t know sports! You don’t understand. First of all, let me be very, very clear.”

Hannity rejected the notion that he wasn’t a true sports activities fan, and tried to show himself by naming a number of Knicks legends, but Smith wasn’t shopping for it. “Oh, please!” Smith responded. “You Googled something over the night? Stop it! Stop it! Please!”

Viewers had been also fast to weigh in. One person blasted, “Hannity is what dumb people give themselves the illusion that they are well-informed.”

Another viewer blasted, “Sean Hannity is, quite easily, the dumbest man in the entire media,” prompting a third to chime in, “MAGA Morons just 5 years ago said the NBA was a symptom of America’s decline. Magically, since the King’s hometown team is in the Finals, they watch. Totally not a cult, huh.”
