Fox News viewers are slamming a reporter and Jesse Watters for their insensitive coverage of New York City’s homelessness.
During the Tuesday, July 14, episode of Fox News‘ Jesse Watters Primetime, the 48-year-old anchor once again raged about members of the Democratic Socialists of America gaining energy within the Democratic Party. Watters went on to declare that, meanwhile, DSA member Mayor Zohran Mamdani is letting New York City “run on fumes,” amid record-high homelessness.
The anchor despatched out reporter Johnny Belisario to what he dubbed “Socialist Skidrow,” a 12-block homeless encampment close to the Intrepid Museum. As Belisario poked around in numerous homeless people’s tents, viewers raged that he ought to “rot in hell.”
X person Acyn shared a clip of Belisario talking to a homeless individual sleeping on a public bench, prompting one individual to remark, “That producer should rot in hell.”
Another added, “Out harassing the homeless. smh,” as a third commented, “Fox Producer: You know that you can’t be sleeping here,” alongside a photograph of President Donald Trump showing to relaxation his eyes during an official assembly.

A fourth raged, “Can we try leaving homeless people the f— alone and not treating them like zoo animals just because they’re suffering under the crushing weight of wealth inequality?”
A fifth slammed, “Fox sent a camera crew to confront people sleeping in New York to make a point about Mamdani. The clip they ended up with: ‘I like sleeping here.'”
Yet another fumed, “The same people who claim to be loving Christian’s are the same people who hold f—-ing microphones up to random homeless people and harass them on national television. God damn what a huge pile of s— that Fox producer is.”
Someone else chimed in, “lol ‘let’s go out and harass the homeless about why they’re homeless.'”
In his feedback about Mamdani and the homelessness in New York City, Watters said, “His comrades are winning coast to coast, but his own city is running on fumes.
“Rent just hit an all-time high. Homelessness out of control. Millionaires are leaving Manhattan and took 11 billion in income with them, oh, and everybody’s raping.

“But Mamdani says, ‘Eh, just a technicality.’ Mamdani’s on a roll. He froze the rent, but rent just broke another record, probably because Biden plopped a million foreigners into the city.
“Not all people can sleep on the streets, so some truly need residences, but construct those residences, overlook it. If you need to construct anyplace, Democrats say the building’s obtained to be inexperienced, and the contractors have to be queer, feminine, or Native American.
“Most of the contractors I hire? Dudes. Just regular dudes. So, the rent’s too damn high, can’t build, no millionaires left to tax. Where do people start sleeping? The sidewalk.
“Meet New York’s latest neighborhood, Socialist Skidrow, a 12-block homeless encampment proper next to the Intrepid Museum. prostitutes, addicts, the insane. The NYPD’s not enable to contact it.
“That job belongs to the Department of Homeless Services, which needs seven days of ‘outreach’ before they can clean a tent out. So, they do no outreach, and it just festers.”
That’s when Watters despatched Belisario out to “Socialist Skidrow,” or what he also dubbed, “Zorow,” a mixture of Mamdani’s first title, Zohran, and “row.”

On the streets, Belisario told viewers, “Right here, we have a homeless encampment. There’s beds rights here, people are sleeping, we have umbrellas.”
He added, “This is what’s happening in Mayor Mamdani’s New York City,” before going through the belongings of homeless people.
“This is where someone lives. This is their clothes. They have an umbrella. Hand sanitizer. Keeping clean, so that’s good.”
Speaking to the individual on the public bench, Belisario said, “Do you know that you can’t be sleeping here?” The individual, who stored their face coated, replied, “Yeah, I know.”
Belisario requested, “So, why are you doing it?” The individual responded, “I like sleeping here.”
