Fox News viewers are confused about why President Donald Trump is so concerned in the search for Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy, after he gave yet another update.
The 84-year-old mom of the Today Show host, 54, has been lacking since February 1. Since then, Savannah and her siblings have launched two videos urging potential kidnappers to release their mother. The last noticed the TV anchor say they’re prepared to pay the ransom to secure Nancy’s release.
As the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has announced yet another update in a new assertion on February 8, Fox News shared a clip of the 79-year-old Commander-in-Chief giving the press an update on the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance. This comes after Trump lately announced that federal authorities have strong clues in the case and would reveal them soon. However, some social media customers are scratching their heads about his involvement.
In the conservative community’s X post on Sunday, they shared a clip of Trump telling reporters on Air Force One, “We have some clues I think that are very strong and I think we could have some answers coming up fairly soon.”
The president added, “I’m not talking about a search, I’m talking about a solution…a lot has taken place in the last couple of hours.”
In the post’s feedback, one viewer requested, “Why is Trump so involved in this?” One individual replied, “They keep asking him about it,” as another identified, “He sent federal resources.”
The authentic commenter responded, “I guess it just seems strange that people go missing every day in this country and there is no presidential response. I guess it is because the media keeps asking and Savannah is a celebrity.”
Another viewer fumed, “It’s so like Trump to insert his face into every situation just to get a little attention!!”

On Friday, Trump gave hope that federal officers will soon ship an encouraging bombshell development concerning Nancy’s disappearance.

On Saturday, February 7, the seventh day of Nancy’s disappearance, Savannah and her siblings released another video in which they directly addressed their mother’s potential kidnappers and urgently pleaded, “We pays.”
“We acquired your message, and we perceive,” Savannah said in the video posted to her Instagram account, sitting alongside older sister Annie Guthrie and older brother Camron Guthrie.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department shared an update on Sunday, February 8, regarding the search for Nancy.
In an email sent to the press, the authorities confirmed that Savannah and her relatives had made a vital decision after sharing a new video on Instagram on Sunday evening.
The statement read, “At the request of the Guthrie household, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department will keep a presence at Nancy Guthrie’s residence for security functions going ahead.
“Members of the media and the public are reminded that all traffic laws and private property laws must be followed. No trespassing is allowed on Nancy Guthrie’s property. Violations will be subject to enforcement,” the assertion continued, before including, “We appreciate your cooperation.”
