A MAGA goon has been confirmed as a co-host on The View – but viewers of the show aren’t joyful.
Reality TV star Savannah Chrisley, 28, can be one of the visitor co-hosts on the ABC speak show when host Alyssa Farah Griffin, 36, goes on maternity depart.
It has also been announced that Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Abby Huntsman will return to the show, with Amanda Carpenter, Sheryl Underwood and Whitney Cummings among the visitor co-hosts too.
Savannah will co-host the show beginning from February 17, govt producer Brian Teta told Deadline, including that the co-hosts have been chosen to guarantee “a different point of view at the table” with a vary of views coming together.
Sharing the news on social media, Savannah wrote, “I’ll be co-hosting @TheView the week of Feb 16th!

“I imagine in sitting at tables with people who disagree with you and refusing to shrink your values to make others snug. I stand on religion, household, and freedom.
“I hope this week opens the door to more unity and less division. But let me be clear: I have not forgotten the public bashing of my family by some of these same voices. Grace does not require amnesia.”
Savannah spoke at the 2024 Republican National Convention, alleging that her dad and mom Todd and Julie Chrisley have been “persecuted” by the justice system when they have been convicted on fraud and tax evasion expenses in 2022. They have been pardoned by President Donald Trump last 12 months.
She also praised Melania Trump’s self-titled documentary, describing it as “quietly powerful and deeply human.”
She tweeted, “The Melania movie was breathtaking!! Quietly powerful and deeply human. It reminded us that behind the poise is a woman of strength, grace, and sacrifice.
“On the one-year anniversary of her mom’s passing, falling on the day of Jimmy Carter’s funeral, she might have centered her own grief, but instead selected dignity, service, and respect for a former president.
“An extraordinary wife, devoted mother, and First Lady who champions children’s well being, fights cyberbullying, protects foster youth, and has redefined grace under pressure.
“Melania Trump is shaping generations with quiet strength and historical past can be variety to her.”

After Savannah was announced as one of the co-hosts, however, some viewers said they won’t be watching the show, while others accused her of “compromising” by accepting to go on the show.
A person said, “I cannot watch, but I want you the best!” Another posted, “You already compromised by going. Sad after he pardoned you.”
A 3rd wrote, “You/your ‘household’ begged for a pardon, and it is you who has amnesia–you forgot that they ripped off $36 million from banks and loan firms.”
“Yuck, the WHOLE week? Please say it ain’t true,” someone else added. One more branded Savannah’s choice to co-host The View as a “mistake.”
Alyssa, whose colleagues threw her a child bathe earlier this week, is anticipated to have her ultimate show before her depart on February 13.
