Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford warned viewers that the UK is in for a very “unsettled week” as he warned them to “get brollies ready”. The climate presenter explained that the nation will see a “number of weather fronts” from larger than average temperatures to gusty winds and tons of rain over the next week. 

He said: “Today we are getting the remnants of ex-hurricane Melissa across the North West, and you can see as we head through the next few days, there will be showers and outbreaks of rain. At times it will be unsettled and pretty windy, but it will be quite mild. In fact temperatures will be several degrees higher than average, even at night-time it won’t be particularly cold, which is good news for those heating bills.”
