Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has reportedly requested Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George to step down and retire immediately.

Sources reveal that the transfer is meant to enact a management change to align with Hegseth and President Trump’s imaginative and prescient for the military.

Since taking his top Pentagon place, Hegseth has shaken up army management at the very best echelon, firing over a dozen senior army officers, including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen.
