Holly Willoughby is dealing with additional devastation after being left with no TV reveals, with the news rising that her last ITV gig was axed for good. The former This Morning presenter, 45, has been told the revival of Nineteen Nineties recreation show You Bet!, which she hosted alongside Stephen Mulhern, won’t be renewed for a new sequence.
You Bet! initially started with a studio format before switching to You Bet! On Tour, touring the nation with movie star company and stunt performances. But now an ITV spokesperson has confirmed to The Sun: “You Bet! returned to ITV in 2024 with a peak overnight audience of 4.4m. Both You Bet! and You Bet! On Tour are available to watch on ITVX. There are currently no plans for a new series of You Bet! On Tour.”
The latest blow to Holly’s profession comes after ITV shelved Dancing on Ice after 19 years on air, and after she stop her 14-year This Morning run when it emerged her colleague Phillip Schofield had an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a youthful crew member.
Her Netflix show Celebrity Bear Hunt, which she introduced with Bear Grylls, was axed after one sequence.
Bear explained at the time: “Netflix were really happy. But it was a big, expensive show. There was a change at Netflix, high up, and everyone likes a new project. And I would say that was a 49-51 vote, and it just came down on the wrong side of that.”

A winding-up petition for the company was dismissed by the High Court last year, which attempted to shut down the company by a creditor.
It has since been reported that Holly is instead working with her husband Dan Baldwin’s media company Hungry Bear to develop a “multi-strand programme for digital platforms”, with a source telling the Daily Mail: “The tv industry has modified considerably in current years. It is nothing prefer it used to be so it looks like a good time for Holly to do one thing a little bit different.
