Fired “Saturday Night Live!” comic Michael Longfellow, 31, found he was kicked off the long-running sketch show while he was at an airport in Utah.
The jokester revealed he was ready to board a flight when his agent called and shared that he wouldn’t return for Season 51 of the enduring show, according to The Daily Beast.

“SNL” creator Lorne Michaels was not on the call, the outlet reported.
The Post has reached out to Longfellow’s reps for remark.
Last month, Michaels told Puck News that a “significant” shake-up was hitting the show and a number of solid members have been set to depart.
The fired funnyman was one of 4 on-air personalities axed in a late-night massacre, which included longtime solid member Heidi Gardner, Devon Walker and newcomer Emil Wakim.

“Will not be returning for a 4th season at SNL,” Longfellow wrote in an Instagram post on Aug. 28. “Wish I was but, so it goes. It was the best three years of my life so far. I feel nothing but gratitude for the experience and everyone there.”
Longfellow was employed as a featured participant in 2022 and promoted to the main solid last yr.
“Lorne, you gave me the greatest job in the world and changed my life,” Longfellow added. “You even put my mom on TV. Thank you doesn’t begin to cover it, but thank you.”
Former “SNL” staffers admitted that the show wasn’t always full of smiles backstage.
“Sometimes it was toxic as hell,” Walker confessed in an Aug. 25 Instagram post revealing that he wasn’t requested back to SNL after three years on the show.
Walker, who joined the show alongside Longfellow in 2022, added that he “made the most of what it was, even amidst all of the dysfunction.”

Earlier this yr, Gardner confessed the job had change into a “little tough” during an look on Craig Ferguson’s podcast, “Joy.”
“I will say, the only thing that I’ve started to feel a little bit is just sketch fatigue, or idea fatigue,” Gardner shared. “At this point, after doing Groundlings and ‘SNL’ for so long, I’m like, ‘I’ve written a lot of sketches.’”
Ex-writer Celeste Yim shared that she “got yelled at by random famous men but some famous girls too” in an Instagram post asserting her departure last month.
The show added comedians Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson and Veronika Slowikowska to the solid of the upcoming season.
