This is always a troublesome and somber day of reflection and remembrance, particularly in New York, but 25 years later, it still doesn’t appear real.
The terrorist assaults of Sept. 11, 2001, characterize one of the darkest moments in our nation’s and our metropolis’s histories. But we got here together and rallied around each other in the following days, weeks and months, and sports completely aided in the therapeutic efforts.
