Conservative pundits are taking goal at CNN’s Jake Tapper, alleging he is half of a cover-up to conceal President Joe Biden’s ‘decline’ and accusing him of ‘making an attempt to rewrite history’ following the announcement of his upcoming guide.

CNN’s own Jake Tapper has teamed up with Axios journalist Alex Thompson to pen “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” which is set to hit cabinets next week.

The outstanding conservative social media deal with “End Wokeness” juxtaposed a 2020 video of Tapper with a snapshot of his forthcoming guide, commenting, “Tapper then: It’s a conspiracy theory to say Biden has cognitive decline. It’s a stutter. Tapper now: A book on the cover-up.”

Tapper, while discussing the guide on his show ‘The Lead’ in February, instructed CNN viewers, “As viewers of ‘The Lead’ know, I’ve been covering the concerns about President Biden’s age and health for years,” He added, “I literally asked him about it in October 2022, and we’ve challenged Democrats and White House officials about it.”

Lara Trump weighed in on the matter, saying, “First and foremost, I had no thought that Joe Biden ever suffered from a stutter.” She continued, “I believe what we see on stage with Joe Biden, Jake, may be very clearly a cognitive decline—” reviews the Mirror US. 

“Ok,” Tapper stated. “It’s so amazing to me- a ‘cognitive decline.’ I think you were mocking his stutter. Yeah. I think you were mocking his stutter and I think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody’s cognitive decline. I would think somebody in the Trump family would be more sensitive to people who do not have medical licenses diagnosing politicians from afar.”

Insiders commonly observing President Joe Biden describe his behind-the-scenes demeanor—in the Oval Office, on Air Force One, and at worldwide gatherings—as typically sharp and targeted, yet sometimes raveled, trailing off mid-thought or showing perplexed.

While such moments of distraction won’t be uncommon for somebody of his age, Biden, at 81 and eyeing one other presidential run, has seen these episodes of seeming confusion draw appreciable scrutiny.

A spokesperson for Biden acknowledged the president’s bodily indicators of getting old but refuted any suggestion that they suggest mental decline. The consultant said, “Yes, there were physical changes as he got older, but evidence of aging is not evidence of mental incapacity.

“And so far,” the statement read, “we’re still ready for somebody, anybody, to level out where Joe Biden had to make a presidential resolution or make a presidential tackle where he was unable to do his job because of mental decline. In reality, the evidence factors to the alternative – he was a very efficient president. Despite accusations of mental decline, the evidence suggests that he was an extraordinarily efficient president.”

Critics on the conservative side have leveled accusations at Tapper for engaging in what they term a ‘conspiracy’, mirroring Republican rhetoric about ‘fake news.’

The Libs of TikTok account spotlighted Tapper’s book promotion on CNN, highlighting his words: “JAKE TAPPER: As viewers know, I’ve been overlaying issues about Biden’s age and health for years… we spent a number of months speaking to people… you’ll not imagine what was actually going on.”

Following a debate efficiency against Republican Donald Trump that failed to impress, Joe Biden saw his influence diminish, leading to him stepping down from the 2024 presidential race in July amid worries about his capacity to fulfill presidential duties.

In the shadows of the political arena, Joe Biden‘s physical deterioration has become a topic of concern, with insiders claiming that his condition had progressed to the point where there were talks of potentially having him use a wheelchair should he win re-election.

This bombshell revelation is detailed in Tapper’s soon-to-be-released book, which states: “Biden’s bodily deterioration – most obvious in his halting stroll – had turn out to be so extreme that there have been inner discussions about placing the president in a wheelchair, but they could not do so until after the election,” as Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson unveil in their controversial work.
