Joe Biden sends Kamalas call to voicemail after | Political News
When former Vice President Kamala Harris called former President Joe Biden to speak about his cancer treatment, the latter despatched it to voicemail.
During her look on MSNBC’s The Weekend in a Sunday interview, Harris revealed that she called Biden after she heard that he was present process radiation therapy.Â
“I called him earlier. I have not talked to him. I just left him a message after I heard the news,” Harris revealed about her cellphone call to Biden.
Her memoir “107 Days” which launched last month supplied insights into Harris’ traditionally short 2024 presidential marketing campaign after Biden dropped out of the race.
Harris didn’t disguise her emotions in the direction of Biden and his employees, even calling his choice to run for a second time period as “recklessness.”
While Harris was not a vocal critic of Biden during her marketing campaign, she has now joined other Democrats like former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in critiquing his reelection marketing campaign.
She also detailed how he called her proper before she took the stage to debate President Donald Trump and lashed out at her for allegedly talking against him to donors.
While the duo have spoken about her memoir, Harris refused to reveal how it went.
Biden announced in May that he was recognized with an aggressive kind of prostate cancer.
In August, he has pores and skin cancer eliminated from his brow.
On Saturday, his workplace announced that the previous president is present process radiation therapy which is predicted to last 5 weeks in addition to the hormone medication capsule he was taking.
His group assured the public that Biden was “doing well.”
“I believe Joe Biden is a fighter, and that is what I told him,” Harris told MSNBC. ” He’s going to fight this, and we’re going to hold him up and pray for his recovery and for his strength and for his family.”
