Vice President JD Vance said that President Donald Trump’s administration will pay the troops utilizing “pretty nonconventional” strategies amid the federal government shutdown.

During a Sunday section on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures, Vance assured that the president would be “doing some fairly nonconventional issues, as President Trump often does, to guarantee that our troops are ready to get paid.”

“Chuck Schumer recently said, ‘Every day gets better’ during their Radical Left Shutdown. I DISAGREE!” Trump said, lashing out at Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).
“If nothing is done, because of ‘Leader’ Chuck Schumer and the Democrats, our Brave Troops will miss the paychecks they are rightfully due on October 15,” he continued.
