Joy Behar clashes with View co-hosts as they | TV Shows

The View’s co-hosts had some differing viewpoints when it got here to the rift between Prince William and Prince Harry following the latter’s current reunion with his father, King Charles.

The ABC show tackled the subject on the Friday, July 17 episode, one week after Prince Harry’s return to the U.Ok., along with Meghan Markle and their kids, for the first time in 4 years, noticed the reunion with King Charles and his grandchildren and daughter-in-law for the first time since 2022, and met with his son for the first time since their temporary 2025 reunion.

However, following the go to, it has been reported that the connection between the brothers was ‘so broken’ that nothing may repair it.

As the panel, which consisted of Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, mentioned the brothers’ feud, it grew to become clear there was no settlement on the source of the drama.

After discussing the significance of Harry and his household seeing the King, who has been battling cancer, the ladies vehemently disagreed over the problems between the brothers.

“I think this is about rivalry of some sort,” Behar said. “I mean, you have William is the heir to the throne, and Harry is like, the other.”

Haines rapidly disagreed, saying, “No, I think it’s the treatment of Meghan Markle.”

This led to Behar arguing with her, as she replied, “That didn’t help, but they would not treat William’s wife that way, because he’s going to be the next king.”

“Well, if she was Meghan Markle, they might’ve,” Haines snapped.

The subject then turned in the direction of the position of the British press in the feud, with Griffin claiming that some tabloids in the U.Ok. had gone “low and deep” with vicious assaults on Markle, and admitting she felt for her as a mom when she mentioned the postpartum depression points that have been amplified by the highlight on her.

Despite the other ladies all seeming to agree that the problems stemmed from Markle’s treatment, Behar still maintained that it was an issue associated to competitors over the throne, which led Navarro to enter the fray.

“What was the name of the queen’s sister? Margaret. That lady had fun!” she said. “She had men, she had drinks, she had ciggies, she was flying all over the world.”

Behar still disagreed though, declaring they have been speaking about the sisters, while this was an issue between brothers.

“First of all, I don’t meant to sound sexist, but these are boys now. Not girls. You’re talking about Margaret, it’s different,” she insisted.

She then tied her argument to politics in the U.S., citing that males in Congress “can’t let go of that power, it’s masculine.”

This led to Haines then making a quip tied to the announcement that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth would start testing testerone ranges of servicemen, joking, “it might be the T levels!”

“It’s the T levels!” Behar affirmed.

The feud between the brothers has been ongoing since Harry and Megahn stepped back from royal life in 2020, and escalated following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex often detailing their behind-the-scenes struggles in documentaries, interviews, and Harry’s memoir, Spare.

The last time Harry and William have been last seen together in public with their wives was Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in 2022. They last reunited at the 2024 memorial service of their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, though they maintained their distance and made no effort to communicate to one another.
