President Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, shared an update on her mom’s health.

During the Fox News broadcast of Fox & Friends on July 16, Kai, 19, appeared on this system to communicate with hosts Ainsley Earhardt, 49, Brian Kilmeade, 62, and Lawrence Jones, 33. The rising collegiate golfer then shared a health update on her mom, Vanessa Trump, 48, who is presently battling breast cancer.

She appeared optimistic and flashed a smile as she briefly spoke about her mom at the star-studded event.

“My mom’s doing good,” Kai said to the New York Post. “She’s doing better.”

Last month, Kai’s mom divulged to her online followers about the surgical procedure she underwent at the time.

“Over the past 4 weeks, I’ve been recovering from surgical procedure, and I’m grateful to be therapeutic and transferring ahead. Soon, I’ll be beginning the second stage of my treatment,” Vanessa said. “Sending love, strength, and hope to everyone fighting this battle.”

Vanessa, meanwhile, announced she was diagnosed with breast cancer via a lengthy Instagram post in May.

“While this isn’t the news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she wrote at the time. “I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.”
