LeBron James gets honest about Lakers Christmas…
If LeBron James had issues his manner, he’d be planted on his sofa this Christmas.
The Lakers star obtained candid over the weekend about being scheduled to play yet again on Dec. 25, telling a gaggle of journalists he’d want to be at his mansion with family members this vacation go-around.
“I’d much rather be at home with my family,” the 40-year-old admitted.
James has been in the league since 2003, and he’s performed 19 instances on Christmas during his NBA tenure. Thursday’s home matchup against the Rockets will mark the twentieth time he’ll go well with up on Santa’s big day.

James, though, did say that while the comforts of his mansion sound more interesting than the Crypto.com Arena hardwood, he still considers it a privilege.
“It’s the game — it’s the game I love,” James said. “It’s the sport I watched when I used to be a child on Christmas Day, watching a lot of the best play the sport on Christmas. It’s always been an honor to play it.

“Obviously, I’m going to be completely honest, I would like to be home on the couch with my family all throughout the day. But our number is called, so we have to go out and perform and I look forward to it.”
Tip-off for the Xmas tilt is slated for 8 p.m. ET.
Before that, the Lakers will play a street recreation against the Suns on Tuesday evening. James’ group presently sits at 19-8 and in fourth place in the Western Conference.
