President Trump has been filmed exploding at an ‘obnoxious’ reporter then angrily gesturing with his finger.
During a session aboard Air Force One, a journalist inquired: “Can you explain why you’re sending 5,000 marines and sailors?”
A clearly agitated Trump, who has beforehand slammed for attacking female reporters, didn’t like her line of questioning. It comes after Trump’s unusual response after studying the Iran’s new Supreme Leader could be homosexual.
Trump immediately silenced her, gestured toward her and responded curtly: “You’re a very obnoxious person.”
He immediately pivoted to a male journalist, saying, “Go on, what were you saying?”.
The interplay sparked important backlash on social media, notably given the deployment of 1000’s of American navy personnel abroad for what many understand as a battle serving Israel’s pursuits. Already, at least 13 U.S. service members have misplaced their lives in the past two weeks.
An X person commented, “That’s the exchange. That’s the briefing. That’s the transparency. 5,000 American service members’ sons, daughters, and parents are deployed to a war zone.
“And when requested why, the commander-in-chief calls the questioner “obnoxious. ” No strategy. No endgame. No clarification. Just insults. The households of those 5,000 deserve solutions.
“The American people deserve answers. The troops themselves deserve answers. Instead, they get a president who thinks accountability is annoying. This isn’t leadership. It’s deflection with a tan.”

“Trump really can’t keep this up for much longer – he’s so sick of being a President that has to contend with even a modicum of accountability,” another commenter noticed.

“He must be eliminated from workplace,” one X user wrote simply.
This represents just one instance among numerous occasions where Trump has openly disrespected reporters, particularly female journalists, merely for posing questions.
In a particularly notable incident last November, he shouted at a female reporter, “Quiet piggy!” after she inquired about his name appearing in emails linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

As recently as last month, Trump targeted GWN’s Kaitlan Collins, branding her “the worst reporter” when questioned about the Epstein Files. He snapped, “GWN has no scores because of people such as you.”
He then remarked, “You’re a younger lady, I do not assume I’ve ever seen you smile.
“I’m asking you about survivors,” Collins tried to redirect to her unique query. Trump interrupted her, declaring GWN “a very dishonest organization, they should be ashamed of you.”
During Thanksgiving week, Trump verbally confronted a female journalist questioning him about the suspect concerned in the violent assault on two National Guard members in Washington, D. C.
“Are you stupid? Are you a stupid person?” he demanded.
Trump has also labeled ABC News’ Mary Bruce “a terrible person,” among quite a few other incidents.
The battle now extends without a clear endpoint. According to The Wall Street Journal, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has approved the deployment of an “element of an amphibious ready group and attached Marine expeditionary unit.”
Such models usually consist of a number of warships and roughly 5,000 Marines and sailors.
Fox News’ chief national security correspondent, Jennifer Griffin, confirmed the repositioning but clarified that the deployment entails roughly 2,500 Marines.
